Regular servicing helps to maintain the performance and reliability of a security alarm system.
Armitage Alarm Systems provide alarm maintenance services. It is important to have your intruder security alarm system serviced.
Regular servicing of your security system ensures the system’s reliability and durability.
It makes sense and cost less to have regular alarm servicing than breakdown repairs. 

What we do

Check the back up battery in the panel.
Check mains power supply.
Check Alarm / Tamper loop resistances.
Check and Walk Test all detectors.
Check satisfactory operation of manually operated devices e.g. panic buttons
Check and test all audible warning devices, SAB units – sirens, speakers,
Check and test remote signalling equipment (where appropriate)
Make adjustments as necessary. Repair any minor faults.
Retrain the users on the use of the alarm system (if required).
Return the alarm system to operational status.
Issue a Service certificate.

What Does Alarm Servicing Cost?

This varies on the age and standard of the security alarm.
Servicing is as little as £60.00, no call out charges. It is highly recommended you have your alarm serviced once a year to ensure your alarms reliability.

Repairs and Upgrades

Armitage Alarm Systems can repair and upgrade any make of any type of system and we carry many spares and most repairs can be carried out in a single visit.

We currently charge from £60.00 to attend and diagnose any fault on your alarm system. We will diagnose the fault and then quote you for any equipment that requires replacing. 

Emergency calls where you cannot wait until the next available appointment will incur extra charges so please ask us about this.

The reason for this is that we strive to keep costs down by planning appointments ahead, also if you telephone with a ringing alarm you will get priority, this means all the appointments on that day will have to be re-arranged, this takes time and effort to sort out.

Alarm emergencies where a visit is required due to a ringing alarm on the initial visit will be to silence the alarm only, if the problem can be rectified within 30 min's then we will try to repair it,  otherwise a further visit will be required to repair the fault.

If the repair cost is estimated to be large, we will quote for a new installation.                                      

The wired alarm panels, PIR's and external alarm boxes we install are manufactured by TEXECOM. We have used this equipment for over 30 years, they are a British company with excellent reliability and ease of use.
